It's the 18th December and I chose key 20 for contemplation today, I didn't randomly pull it. I've been drawn to it these past days because it reminds me that we're near the completion of a cycle, the cycle of our calendar year 2022. There are 22 Major Arcana numbered 0-21, and when we see this one, Judgement, it is an AWAKENING!!! 🎺 (why are there a plethora of disney emojis but no angels!! I need an angel! With a trumpet. I need an emoji with gravitas and clout, for chrissakes)

It's a calling down to the deepest layers of my soul to decide to release ties that are done. Patterns, relationships, dynamics within relationships, actions, habits, directions...sift through it all in ruthless questing for what is 🔥TRUE🔥

It might be hard to imagine life without this thing/person/job/habit/dynamic. So start by removing the blindfolds one by one, begin to reclaim all those parts of yourself that you gave away. And realise why. Why you thought you had to do that to live, to be loved, to be safe.

People can be put off by the word 'Judgement' because our culture has cleverly given it negative connotations. We fear being judged. We feel bad for judging. We lose our judgement. We look to an authority because we gave away our right to discernment, to evaluate for ourselves, to decide, for ourselves. Don't fear judgement...either the card, which is an exhilarating challenge, or the modern day usage of the word, which is designed to keep you paralysed in fear. Fuck em. Be yourself, shame the devil (but that's another story for another day 🤣)

You won't lose what was always yours. Hear the call whilst it's still a whisper. It's time.
